The Swiss minarets NO: no triumphalism but still occasions
Among the hosannas of winners and losers of the catastrophe, there are three occasions not to be missed
For the Muslims an opportunity to make a self busy with integration and comparison with the cultural fabric of their host.
For us Christians an opportunity for a renewed fidelity to our faith as a possible foundation of our daily work, now lost and disoriented.
For all of us inhabitants of Europe: an opportunity for reflection on the origin of our values. Not afraid to acknowledge in the advertisement of the love of Christ for man the strength of our culture.

Minarets: the battle already won
If this initiative, like the one we discussed in Ticino, has moved the waters and discuss fact, the goal is already achieved: to move us to reflect on the basic question on 'where we come from and to whom we belong '. And, if on such questions Fundamental to all we meditate at least for a moment, then we can say that the initiative has already achieved a major success.

Eluana: A History nonsense?
Eluana If she had died 17 years ago we would not have learned what
-charity-
we would not have learned that love does not ask for anything for himself, but he gives everything
-we would not have learned how far one can get justice
crazy-we would not have learned how far it can reach the solitude of a father
Eluana have taught us that. Your life had a sense .
Thanks.

TGCOM liar?
In newsletter of 23:00 today announces the commentator of TGCOM words: "Today Eluana will be transferred to Udine, where you can turn off the machines that keep her alive. "
Eluana's life is not assigned to any machine, but a small tube that carries water and a bit of calories as it would exercise the right of every human .
adjustments and the commentator says: "Today Eluana will be transferred to Udine, where you can let it die of thirst." Commentator distracted? hope, or else a liar and manipulator.
Eluana And let us hope that does not feel, perhaps unrealistic, but who does not dream (and here you can have a reasonable doubt) not to hear and then not suffer the horrors humans.

Meeting Sylvie Ménard , an opportunity for all
Oncology, a researcher at the National Cancer Institute of Milan, a great collaborator Veronesi, three years ago became ill with cancer. I met her at the Meeting in Rimini this year, to be amazed at the clarity with which recounts his experience as a patient but also the positive that can live in this "new" condition. The hope that testimony in a very simple way is contagious, which is why I believe it is worthwhile to propose a meeting to as many people as possible.
